I need to buy a gift for a newborn. Can you please give me some ideas?? It’s a girl, by the way.
i like to make up a little bumper pack, eg nappies, baby wipes, bath products ect and depending on budget a little outfit or bea. when i had my little boy my friend made me a little pack and i though it was briil because i got so many outfits i never had a chance to put them all on him and the stuff she gave me came really in handy xx
I just transferred to a new department in November. One of my coworkers is due to have a baby in the coming week. Should I buy her a gift?
Yes, it would be an nice gesture to get her something small and unique. If you just go buy bibs off her registry, it’ll seem like you’re doing it because you have to.
Instead, find a unique onesie or other item you really like.
i came home and my cat flipped the hamper over and got in it and white stuff and blood was everywhere we have her in a little bed now and she was fat before this and now shes not. Is she going to have baby’s?
sounds like had them and might have eaten them, less there hidden in house,if a cat rejects them they hide them away
What are other mom’s and dad’s getting their toddler’s for Easter? I know Easter is still a while away, but i’m kind of at a loss as to what I am going to get my 15 month old daughter. She will be 17 months at Easter time and I know that I am going to do an Easter basket filled with her favorite things, but its tradition (in our family) to get one big toy for Easter. I really want to get her something fun that can be played with outside. My parents (her grandparents) are getting her a sand box for Easter, which is what I originally wanted to get her, but they asked if it were ok, so I agreed that it was fine. I was looking at those water activity tables, but i’m just not sure what to get her. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Note: She has plenty of ride on toys and battery powered toys, so I would really like to stay away from those seeing how she already has a dozen.
A water/activity table would be a great gift. My kids have used ours for 3 years. A tent with tunnels, a bubble blower, a picnic table with an umbrella.
I think you have a great idea, she will get alot of use out of the activity table, get one with an umbrella if you dont have alot of shade.
hi im jenny im 17 almost 18 and my bf gave me his class ring and i wanted to get him a dog chain with a photo with me on it saying my angel or my baby and getting my self one to with a picture of him saying the same thing as on his is this a good idea please be honest
It’s a good idea. What you give isn’t really important, as long as it comes from your heart. C=

for the baby - a silver spoon and cup, if its a girl then silver anklets would do . the safest gifts are toys for the baby. or gift certificates for restaraunts since with a new baby the parents might just want a break with the cooking and cleaning for a change

Friends of mine are going to have a baby. As a sentimental part of their gift, I wanted to purchase two stuffed animals for their coming baby- an orange puppy and a blue puppy. The stuffed animals need to be made for babies, be soft, relatively small, and pastel colored. I also wanted to get a word embroidered on each of them, though this does not have to be done by the same company. I have searched all over the internet and found numerous blue puppy stuffed animals, but no orange ones. I want the two to match (i.e. not two different looking stuffed animals). Any ideas on where I can get these?
Thank you!
Have you looked at "Build a Bear"?
Friends are having a baby boy and have everything + more. We are on a tight budget and do not know what to get them. Because the baby has so much, should I buy for the mum/dad and what do I get? They are furnishing their home so I thought a picture frame might be good- so they can put a family portrait in, or a c.d. for the baby????? They are very stylish and like to have the latest of everything, Please Help!!
Buy a package of diapers and a package of diaper wipes. Those are always needed.
My partner and i have some planes in place, like we already have the cot set up and we talk about the new baby sister he will be getting to him often. He is toilet training and sleeps in a "big boys bed" he even know to say good night to the baby before Daddy puts him to bed each night. Do you think giving a small gift from the new baby to the older child is a good idea? Any other ideas? And what do you think of the name Olive?
We have been working on the same thing! Our pediatrician said it is really a good idea to give a gift from the baby! So we are also planning on doing that. We are also talking to our daughter about the baby and what things are going to be like. Additionally we have signed our 2 year old up for daddy and me soccer classes that start up here soon so that even after the baby is born she has alone time with us away from the baby and house to feel special. We are trying hard to keep up her routine as we get closer so that she doesn’t feel left out. I know that there will be some jealousy but I also want her to still have one on one time as well.
As yes the name Olive is precious!
