Do youguys still have youre baby blankets when you were little or you had threw it away?

And what kind of baby blankets was it and what age did you had it ?

I still have my baby blanket. It is so worn out now though it is like a sheet and it barely coverst the top part of me. LOL
It is like a bunch of animals with blocks saying letters or number. Totally cute and still soft. Also I have this picture frame with me as a baby in it, and the frame has a whole bunch of animals on it like my blanket, and when you turn the knob it has the song If I Could Talk to the Animals. And I remember my mom tucking me in and turning it on to help me sleep and singing it to me. it is broken now, but I am hoping to find a way to fix ie.

I still have mine….it is a handmade needlepoint quilt. Plus I have what we would call a thermal blanket now with a silk ribbon around it. The quilt was made for me when my mom was only 14, because my grandma was dying, and told my mom that she was going to have a girl, and was going to be the first grandchild. Well a few years later, I arrived….
When I had my first child(girl), my mom gave me my blankie, so my daughter could use it. I still have it, and have taken such good care of it, now MY granddaughter(when I have one) will also be able to use it.

Yes I’m 27 and still have 2 of my baby blankets and a Winnie The Poor Bear. One of the blankets is a pink crochet blanket that my mom made when she was pregnant with me and the other was made by my great-grandmother at the same time. The Pooh bear was a baby shower gift my mom received for me.

My mother made me a small quilt and I have used it to cover my daughter then my 2 grandsons and now my 16 mo old Grandaughter. I also have my "Teddy bear and stuffed animal tha t still resembles a fox ecept for the fact half his nose has been chewed off (halfway) It made for a good pillow for napping on the couch . Now my granddaughter uses it for a pillow too.

Yes, I still has it in the closet, I brought it to bed when I married my husband, he hated it. It was a silk blanket, it really helped me to relieve my school years of stresses, I used to need it to be able to fall asleep.
My Grandma picked out for me when I was born and I’m 29. It really reminded me of her- the person I love the most in the world.

I have the hand knitted baby blanket my mom got from one of her aunts while she was pregnant with me. I came home from the hospital in that blanket. I have tons of pics of me with that blanket growing up. It looks brand new too. I also have the baby blankets my mom made for my children when they were born, and the blanket my grandmother knitted for my son when he was born and the blanket my friend made my daughter when she was born as well.

Well I still have a baby quilt my great grandmothers made for me. That made it out of fabrics they had lying around and they did every stitch by hand. I was a December baby and my mother brought me home in it. My mother even kept alot of my clothes and some of my bibs. My mother and my grandmother are pack rats, they keep just about everything….

Yes! Of course I still have mine. It is only a small crib sized blanket though. I have had it since I was born. Sadly I still use it to go to sleep at night . My husband hates it and tries to hide it all the time. I am not sure about using it for my future children however it is kinda ratty looking. I will get one for them though. Nothing is better than a security blanket when you are younger (OR 25)!

    Good Question!
