I have a friend who is having a baby shower and i already got her pacifiers, a cute outfit, little baby booties with a cute hat, and a baby bib. I really want to go all out on her present, so what other gifts should i get for her? Any ideas? Thanks so much!
The things for new babies is diapers mylacon gas drops and bath kits baby wipes mittens in case he scratches his face. These are things needed that will come in handy and will be appreciated when needed.

Diapers are always useful, does she have a registry? Not very many people bought things off of my registry but I was happy when I got a few things I had picked out. If she doesn’t maybe you can buy her some more clothes in different sizes and some cute blankets..I got tons of clothes in newborn sizes and a few bigger like 6/9 it was awesome to have some when I needed them..It gets so expensive buying clothes every few months.

First ask to see if the couple has a registry and go off of that. If not, you can do gift cards (just like giving away cash, and everybody loves that lol).
You can do outfits…gifts for the mother-to-be like lotions, breast creams, ect….diapers that are one size bigger (like size 1 &2)…baby blankets or recieving blankets (if you want more simple)…and baby toys (like teethers).

For me the best baby shower gifts are ones that get used and are needed.
Car seat, stroller, diapers, receiving blankets, etc…
Some unique gifts that are useful and fun.
- A keepsake album, the one that includes baby’s footprint.
- Baby Lullabies base on current rock music - believe it or not they are really cool. U2, Greenday and others turned into baby music! Mom and Dad can enjoy it too.
- Sleep Sheep - makes noise so baby can fall asleep (which is priceless)

If money is tight consider
Offer to baby sit one night a month for the next 3 months.
Or prepare some home cooked meals that can be placed right in the oven and cooked with no prep time.
