Sweet Baby Gifts

My friend is having a Christening party for her 7 month old daughter this weekend. My husband and I are bringing a gift (outfit for baby and a personalized frame with baby’s name on it). We want to include a card so they know who the gift is from. Who should the card be for, the parents or the baby?
I know the gift is for the baby, but since she (obviously) doesn’t read, should the card be addressed to the parents - congratulating them on their baby’s Christening?
