I want to get a friend something they can use for the baby, but not clothes or a teddy. Something they might actually need and use. What was the best baby gift you got?
My most memorable baby gift I got when I was a baby was a soft colorful blanket. I still have it to this day and I’m 16. Sometimes it’s just the small things.

Bath stuff…Medicine stuf,gas drops,motrin.etc…Diapers,wipes

Diapers and wipes. Though they are the absolute most practical thing they are also the best ‘gift’ I received at my shower. It was nice in those first few weeks not to have to worry about running to the store to grab a pack here and there. You could even do a diaper cake if you want to get more creative/cute with it.

Stroller.
TONSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS of diapers!!!!! (no joke, like if you reallly love your friend, buy more than a years worth. It may seem ridiculous, but OMG we spent $4,000 in diapers on my little sister, in 2 years on JUST diapers!!!)
Changing mat
First aid kit.
Books on parenting or a fun book on parenting like WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR KID FLUSHES THE UNFLUSHABLE! haha
and stuff like that
