A friend of mine hand knit a blanket for my little one. She used our nursery’s colors and it’s beautiful. I thought that was a super thoughtful gift. It takes so much time to make something like that.

it may not be a super special gift to anyone else, but my best friend had a diaper bag made for my daughter, it had her first name embroidered on the front flap and her initials across the back. it’s super cute and was my most favorite gift.

I think gifts from the heart are best. I know that new moms love handmade gifts also a really fun idea is a diaper cake which is made of diapers and has baby products in the middle like powder, shampoo, etc. And they are decorated with any theme you would like such as sailboats, princess, frogs, zoo animals etc. Also if its a girl those new baby hats with the big flowers are great. this website http://www.shabbypeddlers.com has handmade baby blankets, and hats and they can all be custom ordered as well as custom diaper cakes according to their theme of the shower or the nursery.

Unique handmade baby gifts, stuff you can’t get at Walmart or Target. Try Etsy.com….I get a ton of stuff from a store called Baby Whatknots. Cute stuff and good prices.

the cutest gift ive ever seen for a baby shower is a bag filled with clothes pinned to a clothesline. When the mommy to be opens the bag and pulls out the outfit a bunch follow on the line! So so so cute but probably expensive..a good joint gift if its financially up there

i just gave my fried the best gift! she used it everyday and thanking me everyday!
