I’m single and all of a sudden alot of friends are having weddings and baby showers. I hate every minute of it like torture.

I’m not single and I despise it. Gift grubbing and ranking friends in order of the cost of their gift. Shite.

to be truthful with you. i actually like going to those events. make it fun for yourself, i guess. try getting to know more people there i mean, if you’re single, why not just roam around and chat up a conversation. try it, you never know.

I’m with you sister - - and I especially hate that they sit all the single women together - - it makes me feel like I’ve been put on show….like….."there are the losers, arent you glad you arent one of them"

I am so with you! I hate bridal showers, baby showers, weddings, etc. I usually decline - giving an excuse of how relatives are visiting, illness, weather, anything. Recently I was invited to a graduation party - and I was really pressured how it important it was that I come. My excuse? Fell down a flight of steps….
