If you know the sex of the baby, why not do "faux" pink or blue martinis? (or punch).
You could do just the regular cracker and cheese bit or the rolled up sandwiches (usually a fav).
My family made everything for my babyshower. The menu they had was:
- Crab WonTongs
- Fruit Platter
- Veggie Platter
- Chicken Wings
- Green Salad (so good, 1 large can crushed pineapple, with juice 1 package lime jello ( 2 small or 1 large) 15 large marshmallows, quartered 3/4 carton cottage cheese 1/2 cup chopped pecans 1 tub Cool whip - email for the rest of the recipe if you want it. Sounds like a weird combo, but I promise you it’s to die for!)
- Cheese cake squares
- Cookies
- And some more stuff… can’t remember at the moment lol, it’s 5:30am

I made up about 24 fairy cakes with pink icing cos i was having a girl, they all went in the first 5 minutes of putting them out lol.
Also done a platter of hot food like party pies and spring rolls.
I made up a platter of ham & cheese sandwich triangles and also chicken, lettuce & mayo sandwiches which everyone loved.
I had plain chips & dip and also crackers & dip.
For drinks I had soft drinks, water and juice
you could also make or buy a baby shower cake too, some of my friends made baby cakes and they were fantastic!
