Okay, I know this may sound silly but I’m not sure when the right time is to register and how many places can I register? I don’t want to seem rude. Which I guess no one would really have to know anyway unless I told them. Correct?
Anytime you want. You may want to start a bit early,at a month if not two months before your shower invitations go out. So you can list where you are registered on your invitations and so you have enough to time to edit and really figure out what you want on it. I had two registries. One at Target and one at Wal-mart. Most of the stuff was on my Target registry and that is the one most people bought from.
I am a single gal trying to climb out of debt….I have a limited income and hardly have anything left over after I get paid. I am really struggling. I have a large family & I keep getting invited to wedding showers, weddings, baby showers, graduation parties, birthdays, etc…I simply do not have the money for all of this! I can’t afford to keep buying gifts. What to do?
Maybe explain to your friends the situation you are in and be honest with them , im sure they will still want you there regardless of if you turn up with gifts or not. and if it upsets them, well they are not exactly a true friend afterall if all they want are the presents. You could make them a nice card with a nice verse inside which you can find what to say on the internet. I know i wouldnt mind if someone took the time to do that for me. Good Luck
What are some good baby gifts?
Less than $25.00!
everything in Toys R Us that is pastel-colored.
gift cards to the parents and don’t want to do that now.
I am dying for a teething necklace so my baby can have something to chew on while I am holding her that will not fall on the floor every time she lets go of it. I know it sounds like a mom gift, but it would benefit both and would be a sweet bonding gift. I am attaching two links: one is for one that is about $20 and the other is $150 and up. If your situation/relationship is one that makes the more expensive one appropriate, you could look at it as a sweet heirloom that could be given to baby for his own baby one day.

A good friend of mine adopted a little girl earlier this year and I’d love to be able to get her a gift for Christmas. Funds are a little tight, so I don’t want to spend too much, but I love her parents and I love her, so I’d like something special. Any ideas?
I like unusual gifts myself. For my shower, my friends got my the Twilight Sea Turtle. It’s by Cloud b. Right now, I’m using it in my daughter’s room, but it will go in the nursery once my son in born. It’s really neat - I guess you could call it a nightlight, but it’s more than just that. There’s a lens all about it on Squidoo - http://www.squidoo.com/twilight-sea-turtle
I have been trying really hard to get them out within a week so I don’t get behind. How long does it take you to get them out?
Within a month is acceptable. People do mind if one is not received. If people have taken the time to purchase a gift, you should take the time to personally thank them.

If so why did he decide to provide such a gift to the following:
In the same interview, Palin — who is currently a student at Wasilla High School — touted Johnston as a "hands-on dad."
But when Palin was five months pregnant, Johnston — a hockey player who dropped out of high school to take a job as an apprentice electrician, from which he later quit — wrote on MySpace, "I don’t want kids."
"The fact is that we have a society that talks one way but behaves another. And until we start having an adult model for these young people, we`re going to see an escalation in out-of-wedlock births." - Ken Blackwell, Family Research Council
Indeed, it is all to easy to be a hypocrite, btw, God has already provided the gift, it is in place and so we are free to use it, God rarely takes back His gifts, we are not free though to abuse such gifts and taking them for granted is very selfish and a total insult to God.
God bless.
I have a really close friend who is due in April and I want to get her some more personal "mommy" gifts for her to enjoy during her pregnancy (before all the baby showers and baby gifts, etc). I am several years younger than her so she is my first pregnant friend and I’m not exactly sure what would be nice to have while being pregnant.
I already got her some extremely comfortable shoes and want to put together a little basket of extra stuff that she would really enjoy (i.e. lavendor lotions, teas, etc). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
im due in april too so me and her are probably just a few days apart. id really love some comfy PJ’s. if shes still having morning sickness you can get her citrus smelling body wash. its supposed to help ease the sickness. she will definitely want a body pillow when she gets farther along so u can get her one of those. she will get everything she needs for the baby from the shower so its nice that you wanna get her something for herself. if she craves chocolate then give her a few candy bars or whatever other foods she craves. maybe a nice cozy robe and slippers for winter time (keep in mind she will be a larger size by the time winter gets here). i hope i helped =)
