You have the whole internet in front of you. Use a search engine and search "baby bibs". You can get them used at thrift stores and yard sales for 25 cents and up.

I’m 18 weeks pregnant and buying baby stuff as you do. I’m just very unsure on what is more useful velcro or tieback bibs, I’ve heard pros and cons for each, such as with velcro the baby can pull it off when its abit older but I’m also not sure as with tiebacks it could be agrivating with a wriggling baby,, anyways any advice would be useful :) xxx

Bare in mind that bibs are not only used during feeding time but teething time. And that you don’t have to limit yourself to one kind of anything for your baby. Pacifiers (if you use), bibs, diapers, wipes, bottles, foods…ect.

I have a 6 month old who started the teething symptoms at 3 months old. I preferred the plastic backed velcro ones, but that’s because they are plastic backed and they keep her clothes dryer. I have some of each. I have plastic backed velcro, soft back velcro and tie neck ones. I actually like the tie neck ones, and no my daughter does not strangle herself with it, she does pull on it but nothing to hurt herself.

With the tie necks I would not leave my child unattended with one on, that is why I use velcro plastic back while she is teething.

I am trying to organize everything for my baby who should arrive in 2 weeks :) Im a first time mom and I have one question for other moms or dads- where did you store bibs?! Putting them in his dresser seems far away so I was wondering if anyone put them in a kitchen drawer? Any ideas?

We keep our daughter’s in one of those tupperware like zip-loc containers on a shelf in our kitchen it keeps them organized and they are handy for feeding times.

I think I would look cute dressed as a sissy baby girl.Wearing a sweet pink plastic baby bonnet and plastic panties would be fun.So won’t you girls out there give me a bit of fed back on my question.

what ever turns you on.

I bought 2 bibs, one of them says "I love my mommy" and the other one says "I love my daddy."

My brother in law got divorced a few years ago, and now he’s gotten remarried and him and his 2nd wife just had their first baby. He has 3 kids from a previous marriage.

Would it be insulting for me to give these bibs to their baby daughter?

I don’t understand why his previous divorce is relevant. They are the mom and dad of this baby. Who are you worried about insulting?

I’ve tried bleach, napisan, preen, laundry soaker nothing works, any ideas???? I’m having to throw out all his good bibs because I can’t wash everyday.
* He goes through about 10 bibs a day. I’m trying to find out how to get rid of existing mould, not so much prevention.

Mold is considered a permanent stain. Throw them away. Lay them in the laundry, don’t wad and bury wet things. They may still get food stains, but as mold is toxic throw anything of the baby’s away if it gets moldy.

I have all of the baby first holiday bibs and i would love to incorporate them into my scrapbook layouts but what do you think is the best way to attach them?

for all of the holidays i have bibs for i also have a card and at least one picture

images would be amazing!!!

You could make an album with large book binding rings to hold it together and have an album that could be quite thick that way, if the thickness of the bibs concerned you.

Some of my friends have used bibs in their scrapbooks and have cut away the back layer (most are two layers thick at least), only using the top layer as an embellishment to reduce the thickness.

You should be able to use a strong double sided adhesive like sticky strip from Stampin’ Up! to adhere material to a page:

Or you could attach them with a collection of pretty buttons - go ahead and stitch the buttons through the paper and the bib.

You may be surprised to know you can also sew the bibs to the page with a sewing machine. I often use sewing on my paper projects and keep a needle aside just to sew through paper:

Add some fabric interfacing to the back of the bibs if you want an extra smooth look to them before you stitch them.

You could sandwich the bibs between two sheets of cardstock, one of which has a ‘window’ cut out of it to show the bib.

Attach the bibs to the page with pretty split pin brads. I would not use ordinary pins as they may rust over time.

I hope these ideas inspire yu in some way. There would still be other ways to attach them, I am sure! Go ahead and play with a few different ways till you get the look and effect you want :)

Is it safe to wash the baby bottles, bibs, nipples, and other feeding material with nitrile gloves on hand?

I have a very dry skin and I have to put creams and lotions all the time, and I don’t want those medicated lotions get into my baby’s bottles, plus I should keep my hands dry as much as possible.

I bought a pack of 100 nitrile medical gloves from the pharmacy, but I want to make sure they won’t cause any harm to my newborn, in case if it releases chemicals when exposed to very hot water.

safe.
