I am having a baby in 9 days, and a friend told me there were places you can register online to get all kinds of free baby products, does anyone know of these places and if they do exist?

i’ve never heard of any, but I know Enfamil and Similac both give coupons for a free diaper bag full of formula samples and coupons that you can redeem at the hospital you deliever at. Most hospitals give away the free diaper bags even without the coupons. They also usually let you take home diapers, wipes and formula from the hospital too.

You can visit the enfamil and similac websites to register to have the coupon sent to you, or call the hospital you plan to deliever at and see what they offer.

I am currently pregnant and i want my ‘theme’ to be Fairly Oddparents. The cartoon show on the Nickelodeon network. Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, and all the main baby product characters r 2 original and i want something different. also i think that show is funny. im also not doing the blue/pink colors. im using yellow and green. so if you know where i can find fairly odd parents products, please let me know. i am currently 6 mths and i dont know the sex of my baby yet.

I would just decorate it with the wallpaper..lamps..that sort of thing..you will not find crib bedding like that..but maybe just do yellow and green crib sheets..to replace that.

i used all the original johnsons baby products when my daughter was born. i starting using the shampoo for straight hair, and the scented variety of lotions and body washes just before 1 year old. when should i buy her ‘big girl’ stuff? still tear free and scented, but not johnsons, nothing with the word ‘baby’ on it. when she can read possibly? or when she asks for ‘big girl’ stuff? or did you just decide one day to buy your child different stuff.

what is your experience, what age?

My daughter is 4 and I still use the baby stuff because I still haven’t used up everything I got for my baby shower. Whoever said "you can never have enough baby wash" was wrong.

If I didn’t have a massive stockpile to work through and if my daughter was asking for it, I’d get it so long as there wasn’t a significant price difference, but I don’t really see the rush.

I’m looking into baby products what are your favorite and why?

Diapers: BumGeinus cloth, and Shoppers Drugmart/Life Brand diapers
Diaper products: bum wipe and powder from Soapstones.ca (Canadian) as they don’t interfere with the cloth diapers and is softly scented.
Bath products: Soapstones.ca again. Their stuff is natural and doesn’t irritate my son’s skin or dry it out.

We tried Burt’s Bees and it was scented too strongly, same with most big-brand stuff, it’s too stinky and dried out my son’s skin really quick. Plus, I like to buy Canadian made natural products and these have been great. I got some as a baby gift and have been buying it ever since.

Same as my previous question but also taking our daughter who will be 3 months old when we fly out was just wondering what baby essentials u r allowed to take into the departure lounge

It may depend somewhat on the country from which you are leaving. I will assume you are leaving from the US, so I direct you to the TSA web pages about traveling with children, below. They are very lenient for parents taking children, and pretty much whatever supplies you need to take, you can, but check the web site for details. Some items, like large quantities of liquid formula need to be declared to the TSA people as you get to the front of the line, before you put your bags through the x-rya machine.

I have recently had a baby and would love to stay at home with her rather than go back to work 8-6 monday to friday! I am looking at starting up an internet based business selling baby products so that I am still a working mummy but don’t miss out on my little ones development. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy factory seconds for stores such as NEXT, Mothercare, Boots etc? Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
