I’m 29 weeks pregnant and all i have is 3 outfits for my baby given to me by friends. So what do i need and where do i go to get good bargains from?

when i was pregnant with my daughter i went on websites that sold baby clothes and made a list of what i needed and what outfits i wanted to buy, then i could work out how much itd cost etc. i mostly bought my daughters clothes in mothercare, primark and asda, mothercare for the good quality and other two shops because theyre cheap. im pregnant again and will buy my babys clothes from asda, matalan and primark. if you wait for sales you can get some good deals, asda baby event is really good its still on at the moment if you go to their website.

I have already started shopping for the baby, and I’m only 12 weeks pregnant. Do you think I should wait to continue to shop? The reason I started shopping early is because I thinking about moving to another state in the summer, and the baby is due June 10th, and one of my other daughter graduate that same month.
I don’t plan to have a shower, and I don’t plan to find out the sex of the baby until I have it.

Do you mean July 10th because im 12 weeks too and due July 11…and i bought a couple small things, nothing major…i dont think theres anything wrong with buying some small items now, but id wait to buy the major things until after your shower that way you can buy anything you need that you didnt get then…

***if you’re not having a shower and not finding out the sex then go ahead….but i’d have a shower if i were you…generally someone else throws it for you anyways…

We just found out we’re having a girl and we’re going shopping for a few things tomorrow, and I was wondering what you recommend buying? I’ve heard bibs, mittens, and some clothes but I don’t know what "some clothes" really refers to and what sizes I should get. Help?
buy anything that u would get for the babies sex. ie. - clothes, sheets, cot, pram, etc.
Cloths for bubs u should get some all in ones. newborn size, then the next size up get a few of them, and some cute outfits for baby in newborn and next few sizes up.

My wife and I jus found out she is six weeks pregnant the day of her last menstrual period was July 2nd and the what to expect website said she would be due April 8th. I would judt like to know how accurate this due date is and can we start baby shopping even if it’s for unisex stuff.

I have had two girls and with each pregnancy, I waited until at least the 2nd trimester to start shopping. This was because if something happened, I would not have anything around to remind me of the baby.
Didn’t the doctor tell your wife when she was due? Oh, maybe you have not been to the doctors yet. It would be a good idea to get an appointment right away.

So I purchased a shopping cart cover for my baby and i love it. I have to friends baby showers that are coming up and I want to make them both one instead of buying them because they are very pricey. Does any one know how to make these or have made them before? I have an idea but i rather have a better idea of what i am doing. If any one can help that be greaT. THANK YOU

When did you guys start buying baby stuff?

Well it doesn’t matter, you dont have to go on a rampage to get clothes for babies.
Some people don’t like to get clothes for babies yet and so do it is just the different sort of people.

I started when my wife was about 8 months pregnant.

when you found out you were pregnant, when did you start shopping for things for the baby?
i was gonna wait for the clothes and things like that. i meant the big things like a crib and stroller and things like that.

well i went to the store all the time and looked at baby things…i never bought anything though bc i recieved sooo much at my baby shower…actually alot of useless stuff like newborn clothes and its nice but trust me save your money till after the shower for things you need!

everyone tells me if you go baby shopping before ur 3 months you can jinx yourself and ur baby. is that true?

That is not true, and if you did loose your baby and you went shopping before 12 weeks it would be a pure coincidence.

at what age did you start taking your infant out of the car seat and putting him/her in the seat of the shopping cart?

As soon as he could sit unsupported. My advice is to buy a shopping cart/highchair cover they sell them at Wal-mart. They are great because as soon as baby’s start teething they want anything & everything in their mouth & there are TONS of germs on buggies!!!
