Sweet Baby Gifts

A friend of mine hand knit a blanket for my little one. She used our nursery’s colors and it’s beautiful. I thought that was a super thoughtful gift. It takes so much time to make something like that.

I was thinking of putting together a basket of some sort for a baby shower…what are some good items to put in it? I was thinking a "bath time" themed gift basket. Diapers, towels, wash cloths, lotion, soap, brush, bath toys, nail clippers…any other ideas? Or any other themes that would be fun? Its a girl…

We just put together a gift basket for my sister in law and it went over great! They are really cute. We did a whole bunch of items like onesies, pacifier, toys, gas drops, butt cream, baby lotion and soaps, bibs, shoes, socks, etc.
If you are doing a bath time one you should look for one of those baby robes to put in it those things are sooo cute and work great for bath time. Also I would suggest a rubber ducky and putting all of the things in an inexpensive baby bath tub! That would be adorable.

My favorite gifts were the gift baskets. They came with so many useful things and I received a few different types of them. Such as, a bath time one, a sweet dreams gift basket, and a baby care basket. A bonus about the baskets is that you can reuse them to store things.

My sister is due with her first baby late July (it’s a boy), and her baby shower is next week and I am trying very hard to think of a special gift to get her. I didn’t want to get something off of the registry because I wanted it to be a little more meaningful but I still haven’t been able to think of anything. If it was a girl I was planning on getting bracelets for the three of us (something we could all wear and have forever) but its a boy so its a little harder… any ideas?? Thanks in advance
like something personalized…like make a onesie or order online a baby gift that says "Aunt (ur name) loves me" or something like that! That would be special!!!

OK its me and my dance club are planning a baby shower for our dance teacher this is what we know so far our teacher loves cookie monster and i volunteered to get her and her baby a cookie monster shirt and bib but a girl that knew our teacher since kindergarten wanted to give her that it might be a little expensive and the teacher will like it the best even though it was my idea(the shirt and bib was supposed to be frum evry1!) im getting decoration and chocolates (NOT SO GREAT) this other girl is getting a gift card (evrythin i said is frum evry1 in dance) then i will get a personal gift and i want it to better than evrybodys PLZ HELP ME FIND A CHEAP BUT AWESOME GIFT FOR HER THANKS( i was thinkin of like a really pretty picture frame for her and the baby)

i saw the other day that me to you had these nice frames with different letters, do you know the babies name i thought they were adorable.

This is my first baby shower and I don’t know what kind of prizes to give away to the winners of the games. I have asked that everyone bring a pack of diapers to the shower to be entered into a raffle as well ~ but need a good prize to give away ~~ please help!

For the raffle I would do something kind of big, maybe a gift card for starbucks and a box of chocolate. For prizes for other games something small like a candle or lotion is just fine.

When I found out my sister was pregnant I set aside a certain amount for gifts. I have spent all but $45 and I am not sure what else to get her. So far I have gotten her a highchair, stroller, walker, lamp, rug, trash can, crocheted blanket, baby book, crib and bassinet sheets, baby wipes, diapers, play gym, safety locks, crocheted bibs, sippy cup, food storage containers, and a water temp duck. I know this sounds like a lot, but she is my younger sister and I have always loved spoiling her. What else should I get her for $45? Thank You!

Okay, I’m pregnant, but it’s too early to have a baby shower, lol. I’m asking this for my cousin. She is almost 7 months pregnant. My family and her friends and i are all going to throw her a baby shower when she’s 8 months pregnant in July. I don’t really have any gifts in mind, i want to get her something cute though. She has been having gender identification problems, but theyre settling on it being a girl. She says the baby moves a lot during ultrasounds or is either not showing it’s genitals in the US.

The doctor is almost 100% sure it’s a girl, so we’re going to throw her a girl baby shower… so what are some cute gift ideas for a baby girl? i was thinking of giving some femine stuff such as a cute girl outfit with bows on it or "I love my mommy" or something. I’m also planning on buying or making a cute card for her with some chocolates, for her. Girl stuff.

I’d love to hear your suggestions. I want to get her something nice because i know she’d do the same for me in 5 months.

PS JUST in case her baby isn’t a girl which is a slim chance now, are there any unisex things i could get? Thanks!

Get the mom something!! She’s the one who is aching and tired and will be feeling forgotten. Slippers, a robe, pedicure appt, gift card to her favorite pre-pregnancy store.

In 2 weeks we are having our co-ed baby shower!! We aregoing to play couple of games which include men and women. What are some good co-ed gifts we could buy for the winner of the games! Thanks <3
Well, it’s kind of big shower (90 people) and its in a hall so maybe something a little more fancy.

GIftcards to things like Starbucks or Blockbuster - I think you can get them in $5 amounts - perfect for one trip to either.

If you get stuck, you can always get separate girly and guy prizes and just make sure you know which are which when you give them out.

My father in law likes to give scratch off lottery tickets, but that isn’t exactly classy

Our family is putting together baby shower gifts for my cousins baby. We each got a letter which we have to get a present for. Our letters are S, K, and Y. I need some help with ideas! The maximum we can spend on the 3 gifts is $20 altogether. Please help!

S - Simethecone (the generic name for Mylicon, the baby gas drops), it’s totally useful for a new mom and buying the generic - available at Target or any drugstore - should leave some money left over for the other items.

Sorry, nothing helpful for the other letters than the Kangaroo or a Yak (maybe a Noah’s Ark play set with both animals?)
