Did you receive money as baby gifts?

About how much? We are curious as to whether or not we will have enough to begin a college fund for our daughter.
Thanks!

We mostly got gifts - but we got a small amount of money that we used to open a bank account for him. I have also set up an automatic transfer to his account each week too - just a small amount but it really adds up.

I got gift cards to walmart.

My parents gave some money, but they were the only ones… well that isn’t true, we got about $200 from other relatives to now that I think about it. But most people gave clothes and blankets.

money is always welcome. you can buy what you want. I don’t get why people get mad about getting cash.
