My mom is throwing me a baby shower on Sept 13th and I want to get her a thank you gift but I want it to be sentimental. She has helped me out so much and has bought so many things for the baby already, if it wasnt for her I dont know what I do so I want it to be special. Does anyone have any suggestions??
You could make her a mother/daughter scrap book, full of pictures and mementos from your childhood with her. And then at the end you could include a letter, or even just a list, of all of the valuable things she has taught you about being a good mother.

How sweet of you. Most people don’t even think of rewarding the person throwing the shower.
Maybe you could get her a nice Bible with her name engraved on it (if she’s religious). It would all depend on her interests.

I know that there is an online baby gift website that do new baby gifts- and they used to personalize bottles of wine or champage with the the babies name for the new grandma.
