I love Howard’s … I love Howard’s stories about Jackie the best. Jackie Martling filtered through Howard, Fred & Robin is the best. Howard’s Jackie voice is priceless.
Sorry guys, Artie … Sorry guys, Artie Lange Rules. All of the laughing was done at Jackie’s expense. There are tons of people that serve that purpose on sirius. The team now has never been better.
Yeah, you’re right … Yeah, you’re right to a point. But just as a lot of fans prefer Van-Halen to “Van-Hagar”, I think the original team was much funnier than they are now. I mean, they are different, but at the end of the day you have to have an opinion and I won’t argue with anyone if they like Artie better - that’s their opinion and their entitled to it. To me, Stern without Jackie would be like watching Seinfeld without Kramer.
i agree that the … i agree that the team is great. but you cant compare the two. it is like comapring the 1970 yankees to the 1999 yankees. they are totally diff.
You hit the nail on … You hit the nail on the head. When they had to work around limitations they were creative. Now they just curse and swear and make witless sex jokes all day. The show is horrible, but I doubt that Howard cares much with his 500 million dollar contract.
You know, I truly … You know, I truly think that Artie is funny on his own as a comedian, but with Jackie off the show the original comedic chemistry is forever altered for the worse. The old days with Jackie were SO funny, that I can’t count the times I was on the verge of crashing my car on the way to work from all the tears of laughter rolling down my face on the freeway. I haven’t laughed so hard in my life from any other single comedian, or comedy team than this Great Era of the Stern Show.
The problem is that … The problem is that now that he is on siruis, Howard has no limits. So its not that fun to listen and see how far he will push it.
You said it. I … You said it. I can’t even bear to listen to Stern nowadays. Howard and Robin are completely out of touch, and though Artie is probably a nice guy off the show, I don’t find him remotely entertaining or interesting..pretty sad thing to say about an addict. I don’t even find that compelling about him.
Agreed. Listening … Agreed. Listening to these clips of Stern in the past to Stern of today are two different people. Maybe age has taken its toll on Stern, turning him into a grumpy, overpaid, soon to retire performer.

I think Howard is …
I think Howard is overacting a little about this.
But either way, now he would expect a baby Mercedes Benz or some stupid .
I miss the original Howard, not the “Hampton’s Howie”.
