Nearly all her requests have been fullfilled (except high dollar items, like the matress, swing, video monitor, etc) — I’ll just buy diapers if I can’t think of anything but was hoping to find something she didn’t think of. I’ve never been pregnate, so I need your help!
Here are some baby shower gift ideas,
Baby slings for Mom - that is helpful
Make a donation to baby’s first bank account
A memory album with an imprint of the baby’s foot (cute)
How about a name train - it would be cute in the room and years down the road he can play with it.
I found these gift here http://www.giftideacenter.com/Occasion/Baby_Shower/
Or something different like baby’s first stock
Silly baby bottle covers
Baby lullabies from rock music - it is pretty cool.
And i found more here http://www.giftideacenter.com/People/baby_gifts.php
Good luck and happy shopping.

Get her something for herself like maybe a gift card for a manicure. It will be nice for her to feel like SHE is special too.

the gift cert for pics is a really good idea. Personally i would prefer a gift card over diapers. So many people buy diapers for baby showers and you end up with too many of one size

First of all, just for future reference, it’s Pregnant….not pregnate.
You could make her a diaper cake. If you look up online you will see how to make them. They are a unique gift and very useful. They can also be really pretty if you take some time and decorate it nicely. You can include things like travel size baby items(shampoos, baby wash)…rattles, pacifiers or a stuffed teddy. Use your imagination and create her a nice personal gift

A kit where you can have the baby’s foot or fist molded.
A photo album. Some have little places for the ‘first lock of hair" the "first tooth" etc.
A set of board books for when the baby is a bit older. ( The kind for little kids with thick pages.)
A baby music CD collection
A night lite
Something handmade. If you sew, knit or crochet, then something made by you is always precious.

The best gift I ever received (my best friend bought it for me for each of my three children) was a lovely basket of essentials that you just don’t necessarily think of for yourself. She would buy a cute laundry basket or something (also useful!) and fill it with things like sterilising solution, tissues, a pacifier clip (to stop the dummy rolling away from baby when he/she spits it out), nappy sacks (scented baggies for dirty nappies), baby massage oil, flannel face washers, bibs, baby-sized coat-hangers, disposable change mats, burping pads, a travel dispenser for baby wipes… so many things, you get the idea.
They are all relatively inexpensive gifts but they’ve all come in very handy once the baby comes home!! She includes one or two ‘cutesy’ things of course, which is always fun. Once she’s finished, she wraps the whole package in coloured cellophane and ribbons - I’ve loved it every time!!

something that i would like would be a gift card to Target or Old Navy for when after the baby is born i could get some clothes that are going to fit. you could put the gift card in a little gift basket full of baby shampoo, baby lotion, burp cloth, bibs, and stuff like that.
or you could put the gift card inside of a card and say ‘get something for yourself’ im sure she would appreciate that.

A gift certificate for a massage after she has the baby (2-4 weeks) AND a home made gift cert offering to watch the baby while she gets the massage. Constantly holding a baby and/or nursing kills your back! I got a massage gift cert. from my brother at 4 weeks and it was the best gift EVER!

I think an organic baby hat or blanket is a thoughtful gift. Check out this article about them:

I think it is a gift that is nice for the baby and shows you care about the environment.
