What are some unique Palestinian baby names?

My fiance (Palestinian) and I (American) are discussing baby names. I’d love to give our future children neat, unique Palestinian names, not just typical Arab names like Khalid, Mohammad, Zeina or Reem. Those are all beautiful names, but I’m looking for unique names that would also fit into an English-speaking society as well. Also, I’m really not looking for religiously-based names either.
Any suggestions?

i think Aqsa is a nice name for a girl. i know its a mosque, but i all feel that its one of the most recognized symbols of palestine.
u can also use city names like :
Haifa
Janine
those are both girl names and i think they are imporatnt because israel took both cities from us.

Zeytoona- is like olivia in english
(well actually it means olive, and those are an important part of palestinian agriculture)
ive also met people names Falastin both boys and girls
and Salam which means peacefor a girl
or Salem which mean peaceful for a boy

i also like the name Dhalia (dal-ya) which means grape vine, and i think thats what im going to name my daughter when i have one

Look, I know you mean well, but why are you asking this in the Lebanon section as opposed to the Israel/Palestine/whatever third party section?

Name your son Amir or your daughter Neda, they seem to be popular among Palestinians that I know.

EDIT: Samsooma, rou7i nte7re. You, like the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, are a guest in this section. And like them, you’ve overstayed your welcome.

EDIT: Gossip Girl, thanks for your input. I’ll be sure to print out your answer and use the paper to clean up after my dog.

All this I’m telling you, I’ve gone up to the faces of Palestinians and said it to them. But only some of the Palestinians, the ones who think they own the world and don’t appreciate what they have (which at this point, isn’t even a country).

I know that it’s becoming more common for Palestinians to name their daughters after Palestinian cities. Some of the most common ones are Yafa, Janine, Bisanne (pronounced "bee-sanne, sanne rhymes with Anne), Haifa, and Jeseenya (Jeseenya comes from the name of the city Ein Seenya.)

    My favorite girl names are:
    Reema–white antelope
    Rania-contented
    Nada–dew drops
    Layla–night
    Randa–scented tree
    Noor–light
    Ghazal
    Ghina/Ghinwa–song
    Amel–hope
    Rena–to gaze
    Amani–wishes
    Liyana–tree vine
    Lilya
    Lolia or Lulu–both mean "pearl"

Boy names: Amin, Rami, Rani, Sami, Zinedine (after Zinedine Zidane!), Zeid, Fadi, Elyas
